Cosmic Tree. Senator Villas Garden Sculpture
Miami-based artist Felice Grodin created Cosmic Tree, a striking freestanding sculpture for Senator Villas, a Miami-Dade County senior housing facility. Fabricated by United America Metal Works using precision-cut aluminum, the piece forms an organic, tree-like structure that evokes interconnected roots and branches—symbolizing renewal, community, and harmony with nature in a serene garden setting.
Inspired by biophilic design and ecological themes central to Grodin's practice, the sculpture integrates with two complementary wall applications, enhancing the outdoor garden experience for residents.
Scope
Fabricate and install a freestanding aluminum sculpture as the centerpiece of the garden at Senator Villas, a Miami-Dade County senior housing facility.
Produce two complementary wall applications integrated into the garden environment.
Collaborate closely with artist Felice Grodin to realize her biophilic, site-specific vision using precision-cut, durable metalwork suitable for outdoor public use.
